Scholarship Information

General Information

Each spring, the FW/TC A&M Club awards academic scholarships in the amount of $4000.00 ($500.00 per semester for four years) to deserving Tarrant County students. The application process is open to all Tarrant County graduating high school seniors who will attend Texas A&M University in College Station the next Fall.

Scholarships are funded through membership dues, donations and fundraising events such as the Coach's Night & Silent Auction. Since 1992, the Club has awarded over $150,000.00 in scholarship funds.

Application Information

Scholarship applications for the Class of 2012 (freshmen in the fall of 2008) are now available through Tarrant County high school counselors and by download from this site. They are due to the Club (postmarked) by Monday, April 21, 2008. See the application for more details.

News & Notes

Club Endows AFS Scholarship

Thanks to the success of the Club's annual Silent Auction in 2003 and generous donations from our members, we completed a $25,000 scholarship endowment through the Association of Former Students. The endowment provides permanent funding for an academic scholarship in the amount of $500 per semester that began in the fall of 2003.
