General Information
Each spring, the FW/TC A&M Club awards academic scholarships in the amount of $4000.00 ($500.00 per semester for four years) to deserving Tarrant County students.
Scholarships are funded through membership dues, donations and fundraising events such as the Coach's Night & Silent Auction. Since 1992, the Club has awarded over $150,000.00 in scholarship funds.
2010 Application Information
The Fort Worth/Tarrant County A&M Club is offering three (3) scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each to students who will be incoming freshmen at Texas A&M University in College Station in the 2009 Fall Semester. Each scholarship recipient will receive $500 per semester ($1,000 per year) for four (4) years while they are enrolled at Texas A&M.
The application process is open to all graduating high school seniors who:
- Permanently reside in Tarrant County, attend an accredited high school program in Tarrant County OR have a parent or legal guardian who is a current dues paying member of the FW/TC A&M Club and attend an accredited high school program located in any county bordering Tarrant County (Johnson, Parker, Wise or Denton County, excluding Dallas County)
- Will enter Texas A&M University in College Station as an incoming freshman beginning in the Fall Semester of 2010
Scholarship applications are available through Tarrant County high school counselors and by download from this site. Completed applications must be postmarked on or before April 19, 2010. Finalists will be notified and scheduled for personal interviews with the Club’s Scholarship Committee.

Club Endows AFS Scholarship
Thanks to the success of the Club's annual Silent Auction in 2003 and generous donations from our members, we completed a $25,000 scholarship endowment through the Association of Former Students. The endowment provides permanent funding for an academic scholarship in the amount of $500 per semester that began in the fall of 2003.
