During the next two weekends (and beyond) the club will be having game watching parties for Big XII and NCAA Tournament Games.  The Friday and Saturday Big XII tournament games will be watched at Pappas Burger's in west Fort Worth, while all NCAA Tournament games will be viewed at Pour House near Montgomery Plaza.  Check for game times on AggieAthletics.com as each tournament progresses.

Starting with tonight (March 1st.) each of the Tarrant County Freebirds locations will be hosting a monthly "Aggie Night" for customers wearing their Aggie Rings.  Show your Aggie Ring to get a free drink and side (Rev'd up Combo) with the purchase of a Burrito.

Tonight's event will be at the Arlington Highlands location off of I-20 and Matlock.  The events will be hosted on the first 3 Mondays of each month from 6-9 PM and rotate between the 3 locations.

Join the Club Saturday Feb. 6th at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo for Aggie Night.  The club has purchased a block of tickets available for purchase thorugh our site.  There are only 75 available so order now to make sure you don't miss out.

In addition, this year at the Rodeo, on Feb. 5th, see the Texas A&M Equestrian Team in a Western Riding and Roping compentition with local favorite, TCU.  Come out and support Aggie Women's Athletics.

The 2010 Scholarship Application is now available for high school seniors that will be attending Texas A&M starting in the Fall of 2010.  The application can be downloaded from the website, or found in Counselor offices across Tarrant County.  To be considered for a scholarship, your application must be returned to the club no later than April 19, 2010.

The 5th annual Cowtown Showdown Flag Football Game and Chili Cookoff is just around the corner on November 15th!  We're aiming to make this year the biggest event ever, and have many things in store for the Aggies and Longhorns!  Cook-off will begin at 2:00 pm with the Flag Football game starting at 2:30 pm.  Food, beer, raffle prizes, chili prizes and more will be available!  Tickets are only $10 for members, $12 for non-members and $15 at the park.  Be sure to buy your tickets ahead of time to save some money!

The last 3 Happy Hours in 2009 have each been shifted a week or two to prevent occuring on or close to other holidays.  As opposed to the normal "last thursday of the month", the October Happy Hour will be this week on Oct. 22nd.  The November Happy Hour will be on Nov. 19th and the December Happy Hour will be on Dec. 17th.

The October Happy Hour will be at Buffalo Brothers on Univeristy Dr. in Fort Worth.  Check back closer to each of the other two events for updated locations on the calendar.

Whiskey & Rye in the new Omni Hotel (1300 Houston Street) downtown is the location of the Official A&M Club game watching parties for most televised 2009 football games.  As televised games are announced check our Calender to see if we will be having a Game watching Party.

The Fort Worth/Tarrant County Aggie Moms Club is sponsoring is a Carnival Cruise to Progreso in the Yucatan Peninsula and Cozumel, Mexico on January 5, 2010 for 5 nights to help the Club raise money for scholarships.  Room rates are between $425 and $475.  There is one correction to the attached flier: Initial deposits are due by mid-July as opposed to April 17th.
